In my book, Carter and Sadie met Thoth. Thoth liked music and barbecue. I can relate, because I have learned a lot of music this year at school and find it easier to appreciate this.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Miss Child Has Gone Wild by Dan Gutman. When the main character A.J. was at school, Miss Child who works at the zoo came to tell his class that they were chosen to go on a field trip because they won the cleanest class contest. She had a snake around her. I connect this to science because we learned about living and nonliving things and a snake is in the living category.
I read The Humming Room by Ellen Potter.

ReplyDeleteOne thing I can connect to from my book that I learned in third grade,(still learning about it)is that the 7(Leo, Hazel, Percy, Frank, Annabeth and Piper)are in Rome.
I read pages 162 to 171 of The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. This is a fictional book because it talks about gods and goddesses and I know that gods and goddesses are not real.

ReplyDeleteI am still reading Miss Child Has Gone Wild by Dan Gutman. A.J. and his class went to the zoo where Miss Child showed them where the elephants are. Binky, one of the elephants, started to draw on an easel with a paintbrush that Miss Child gave him. He started with a curvy line and at the end he drew a self-portrait of himself. I can connect this to reading because I remember that I read a passage for homework about an elephant who could paint.

ReplyDeleteI just finished Earthquake in the Early Morning by Mary Pope Osborne. Jack and Annie went to San Francisco for a mission. While they were there, an earthquake occurred. I can connect this to science because we learned about earthquakes and natural disasters.
