4/30-5/3

Read for 20 minutes.

Record the title and author of your book.
Then, in the comment section, record one thing that you found most interesting about your book tonight.

Questions that might help you think of something to contribute:
Did the main character do something neat?
Did you learn a new fact?
Did something new or interesting happen?
Did you learn something about yourself as a reader?
Do you have a connection to the setting or characters?
Is there a new word that you learned?
Did the book teach you a lesson?
Did you notice that the author did something in the book that you have read about in another book?

4/8-4/12

Read for 20 minutes.  In the comment section, tell me the title and author of your book.  Then, share with me one new or beautiful or sparkling word you read.  Tell me what words in the text helped you know the meaning of that word.

Example:
Charlotte's Web by E.B. White
monotonous - The book said the crickets sang "Summer is gone, Summer is gone, Summer is gone."  I know monotonous means repeated in the same way or tone because the crickets repeated their song over and over.
