I read Dork Diaries number 1 book. The new thing about Nikki is that she has a dad as a bug guy. The lesson in the book is if a bully is mean to you just don't be with them. I learn that Nikki was a new girl at school. This book is by Rachel.

What I thought was really interesting was that Ramona's friend vacuums her cat every day because she does not want her cat to get fleas. I think that is interesting because I do not know anybody who does that.

ReplyDeleteI am still reading Ramona's World by Beverly Cleary. I thought it was really interesting when Ramona was at her best friend's house and while they were playing Daisy, her best friend, accidentally pushed Ramona into the attic. While Ramona was trying to push Daisy back, the attic floor was starting to break. Of course, Ramona fell through the attic floor and Daisy's mom could see her hanging from the dining room. I thought that was interesting because I have never seen anybody fall through the attic.

I found it very interesting that Merlin survived his boat wreck without drowning. It is a mystery how he ended up on an island and did not die. I think he made it to the island with the help of the Mere people. Merlin was unconscious. So, he did not know how he got there either.

In the book Ramona says that her legs got all scratched and scraped and that it hurt a lot when she fell. She added "I was in agony." I think agony means when you feel a lot of pain because she says that it hurt a lot.
