I enjoyed that Rhia taught Merlin how to communicate with trees and get in touch with nature. Merlin is open minded. He likes to learn new things.

ReplyDeleteI started reading Ivy + Bean Doomed to Dance by Annie Barrows. I thought that it was interesting when Bean said that ballerina's toes bleed because they dance too much on their toes. Ivy, Bean's friend, said that this was gross and I agree with her. I saw the picture that showed the blood on the tip of the ballet shoe. I think this is strange because I danced on the stage and saw many ballerinas dance, but I didn't see any blood on any ballet shoes.

ReplyDeleteI am still reading Ivy and Bean Doomed to Dance by Annie Barrows. Finally, when it was Ivy and Bean's first ballet class, their teacher Madame Joy told them to leap like kitties. Bean crouched, twitched her tail, screeched and lunged forward landing on her hands and knees instead. Madame Joy was not happy with her because of that. I think this is interesting because I have never heard someone say to leap like little kitties.

ReplyDeleteI am still reading Ivy + Bean DOOMED TO DANCE by Annie Barrows. When Ivy and Bean got to their dance school, their ballet teacher Madame Joy said that they should get in a circle so she can tell everyone what they were going to be for the recital. I thought it was interesting when Madame Joy said that Ivy and Bean were both going to be squids. I thought that was odd because I never seen a ballet show with 2 squids dancing in it.
