ReplyDeleteI started reading Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers. I am glad that I am not the main character Annabel in the book because she had a fight with her Mom about freedom so she wanted to be her Mom because that way she could do whatever she wants instead of being told what to do all the time. One day she really woke up as her mother. The day started out really weird for her father and her because Annabel woke up and went into her mother's bathroom to see how she looks like. Then, she looked through her mother's make-up and put some on. After, she went outside the bathroom and punched her dad's shoulder to wake him up and then she asked him how she looks. Her dad was surprised because Annabel's mother never puts on make-up before breakfast and she never asks him how she looks.
I read pages 115 to 124 of The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. I learned a new word called demigod and it means a person who is greatly admired or feared.

I am so glad i am not Nikki she was painting for 130 hours and then she put it on the floor to get her back pack and her dads van ran over it and made it in to little pieces. Then her enemy with lip gloss drew a bug and wrote bug girl on her locker.She cried three times in this book. She was going to move to a another school but her best friend and her crush Brandon helped her win the art contest.
I read the son of neptune by Rick Riordan. Percy,Hazel, and ,Frank went to Roma. Percy thought Roma was in California. When they got there, they went to camp Jupiter. There was gards next to the entrains. They wore purple.

In the story Mr. Arable went out to find the pig that was as big as a white rat. Fern was so upset that she went to her father mr. Abale .She thought that it was not fare that a little baby pig will die just because it is tiny. Fern father mr. Arable thought it was not fare to for a little tiny piglet. Mr. Arable decided Fern can keep it. Fern called the pig Wilber. I wish that I had a pig just like Fern that will be fun!

ReplyDeleteI read Ivy and Bean Doomed to Dance by Annie Barrows. I would not want to be Ivy and Bean because they are trying to get sick so they do not have to dance on the stage as squids. When they were walking to school, Ivy and Bean touched a few kids that were sick. Ivy touched a girl with a big rash and Bean let a boy with the cold sneeze on her. I think they should have told the teacher and asked if they could be something else in their dance recital instead of getting sick.

Carter and Sadie went to Elvis's house to get an item of power for Thoth. I am glad I am not a character in this book, because they met a magician in the house that turned his staff into a shotgun. This shotgun turns people into lizards and I do not want to be a lizard.
I read Eleven by Patricia Reilly Giff and I learned that Sam, (the main character in the story) Can't read because he had to get a girl to come and read a newspaper to him so he could know what it said.

I wish I were Ivy and Bean because even though at first they wanted to get out of the show, at the end of the story they actually had fun being friendly squids. They thought it was fun running around with stuffed squid legs that Bean's Mom made with tights stuffed inside the tentacles.
Sounds like silly fun!
