notes/thinking

You guys have been doing an awesome job in class recording your notes and thinking.
Tonight, read a NONFICTION book for 20 minutes.  
Record the title and author in the comment section.  
Then, share with us one note you took (Fact) and one thing you thought (connection, question, wondering).  
I can't wait to see what great things you are thinking and learning!

  5. I read The Lost Hero by RICK RIORDAN. The FACT is Aphrodite is the goddess of love and dove life. Wow' I wish I can meet her.

    Fact: Chihuahuas are usually friendly to other Chihuahuas but often not other breeds. I wonder how they recognize another Chihuahua?

    A fact from this book is that a quarterback passes to a teammate.I think football is fun. There are 32 teams in the NFl and the Super Bowl is this weekend.

  9. Today I read Human Body Parts BY Michel Renee.
    Note: Did you know that before babies are babies, they are tiny little seedlings(beans).
    Thought: Wow, I never knew that babies were little beans before they were real humans! Fascinating facts!!

    Fact: When Albert was a year old,his family moved to the city of Munich in Germany.
    Did Albert like Germany?

  11. I read Civil War by John Stanchak and my note is that the union sent in over 75,000 soldiers, and my opinion is.... Wow thats a lot of people!

  13. I am reading Every Thing You Ever Wanted to Know About Paris by Klay Lamprell.
    One of my notes is that Louis X1V designed the palace of Versaille. I think the palace took years to make from the pictures.

    In Rome by K. Supples I learned that people in ancient Rome liked to go visit public baths. Wow! I did not know that women went there in the morning while men went there in the afternoon. Even slaves and foreigners could go there! There were also swimming pools there and some of them even could fit 3,000 people!

  17. I read pages 1 to 20 of Wolves by Sara Swan Miller. My note is mother wolves have 4 to 7 pups at a time. I think mother wolves have to spend a lot of time to care for their young.
