You have become an excellent reader this year!  Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes.  Then, in the comment section write the title, author and what kind of reading strategy worked best for you while you were reading.
Did you have connections?
Did the book create lots of questions and wonderings for you?
Did you learn some new vocabulary?
Were you able to infer about the setting, character, or other events in the story?

  1. I read Glasses for D.W. by Marc Brown. I had a connection while I was reading. My connection was that I have sunglasses too.

    My stragty was infering.
    My connection was I have seen ghost befor.
    My question was are they true.
    I learned a word called demonic.
    The setting was some houses.
    The main charcter was a ghost.

  9. I read Junie B. Jones Graduation Girl. By Barbara Park. I had a connection it was Junies b-day she was so excited when it was my b-day I was so excited like her too!

Today i read TheLion,TheWitch and the wardrobe the Chronicles Of Narnia by:PAULNE BAYNES.When i read it it siad that when you bring your brother named Peter,and your two sisters named Lucy and susan you may have more TURKISH- DELIGHT.He ate some once and he lovad it.So i can infer that he wanted more because he liked it and he siad may i have more your Magisty
