4/30/12

You have become an excellent reader this year!  Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes.  Then, in the comment section write the title, author and what kind of reading strategy worked best for you while you were reading.
Did you have connections?
Did the book create lots of questions and wonderings for you?
Did you learn some new vocabulary?
Were you able to infer about the setting, character, or other events in the story?
Please share your thinking with us.
thanks.  mrs. ford

  15. I read Geronimo Stilton The Mystery in Venice. My strategy is if I do not know what a word is reread and read the sentence after that sentence. I have a connection on the first page... it's I think Venice is pretty too! I learned a new word too... it's torturous and it means he does not like it or it is like being torchered.
