Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes.  Then, in the comment section write the title, author and what kind of reading strategy worked best for you while you were reading.
Did you have connections?
Did the book create lots of questions and wonderings for you?
Did you learn some new vocabulary?
Were you able to infer about the setting, character, or other events in the story?
Please share your thinking with us.
Thanks,  Mrs. Ford

  10. I read Junie B. Jones Is Not A Crook by Barbara Park. I had inferences about Junie B. One of the inferences I had was that Junie had no siblings except a brother. I also inferred that Junie's baby brother was annoying. I inferred he got on her nerves a lot and cried. I inferred Misses has a name that Junie cannot remember. I also inferred her teacher has a long last name. I inferred Junie is pretty silly. I inferred that her teacher thought she was funny. I inferred her little brother will be the same as Junie B. I also inferred she might have taken her own mittens. I inferred she is not so good at problem solving either. I also inferred one of her best friends are kind of annoying and the other ones not. I inferred Junie and her friends like to play horses. I inferred she likes her friends a lot and her mittens. I also inferred she likes playing games at recess with each other. I also inferred she loves going to recess. I inferred she likes hanging out with her freinds.
