Mrs. Skrivanek's HMRM Reading Homework 9/7

After you read for at least 20 minutes, please leave the title and author of your book in the comment section. I would like you to also try to make a text to self connection. Please remember that you will need to tell us what happened in the text that reminded you of something you have experienced. Happy Reading, Mrs. Ford

  8. I read out of my mind by Sharon Draper. In the story, the main character gets a machine to help her communicate. She is finally able to tell her parents she loves them. This reminds me of the first time Isabella told me she loved me. I cried and smiled all at the same time just like Melody's parents did in the book.
