10/6

After you read for at least 20 min, please leave the title and author of your book in the comment section.  This week I want you to talk to me about your mental images also.  In your comment, tell me what words the author used to help you create a mental image.  Remember that when you use the authors words, you need to put the word or words in "quotation marks".

    Trixie the Holloween fairy by Daisy Meadows

    "candy" is my mental image because trick or treating is on Halloween.

    I read Just Grace and the Snack Attack 26-46 by Charise Mericle Harper. The sentences that helped me create my mental image are " Mimi is not a careful opener of presents and packages, so it only took her about two seconds to rip it open."

    I read a seires of unfortanate events by Lemony Snicket. I had a mental image when I saw the words "I did not like the play".

    Mason read The Zombie Zone by Ron Roy. He remembered the phrase, "Everything matches so perfectly down to blue socks and sneakers. He was wondering if someone would wear just one color.

    I am reading the Canary Caper by Ron Roy. The sentence that helped me create my mental image is "The canary was gone." My mental image was of an empty bird cage sitting on the table.

    I read Geronimo Stilton's: Cat and Mouse in a Haunted House. The words, "Not to mention that hideous rat skeleton hanging in the closet." created my mental image.

    I read Peppers and the pie man Both of the Authors are Unknown. My Mental Image for Peppers was I saw a lot of Peppers And my mental Image for The Pie Man is I love pies!

    I read a book with title "Captain America The First Avanger" the words that the author use to help me make a mental image is "in line at the army recruit center" my mental image is i can come and line up at the army recruit center just like captain america and the name of the captain america is steve roger

    i read the legend of the three trees by George Taweel. I got a mental image when they said "it was decorated with sparkling jewels."
