  1. I read Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The word that I was having trouble understanding was ... buck-brush. The context clues that helped me understand what buck-brush meant were "sides of the hollow buck-brush with sprays of berries faintly pink and sumac holding up green cones but showing here and there a bright red leaf

  3. I read The Missing Mummy by Ron Roy. My word is postponed. It means to change. "um it seems mummy monday will have to be postponed. We'll have it tomorrow."

  5. I read Stuart Little by Eb. White.The word I chose was "Harriet".The context clues that helped me were"Harriet came strolling through the park".

  6. I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Ugly Truth By Jeff Kinney. A word I liked was Happy. The sentance that helped me think of that word was I was just so Happy that the weekend was over.

  18. I read NORTON'S FIRST SHOW By Bernadette Kelly.my mental image was when the owner of Norton siad how is my pony goingto look like in his first show today and i thuoht she was going to make braids but no she did not. She made little circles with Norton's pereshes little hair.HOLLY
