I read On The Banks Of Plum Creek by laura Ingalls Wilder. Icrecated my mental image when I read the words ''they came in cold and snowy''I created my mental image!!!!

I read Life Cycle of a Dog by Angela Royston. One opinion I had was that I think dogs are really good pets. I know it is an opinion because it is what I think.

ReplyDeleteI read The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore. The words, "His eyes, how they twinkled! his dimples, how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow;" helped me create my mental image.

ReplyDeleteI chose context clue. Mr Jenkins greeted them at the bustop. Context clue OS greeted. He welcomed them.
Today I read Clementine's by Marla Frazee. The self text connection is that my friend tried to cut her hair and that is what Clementine's friend did.
