11/10

After your 20 minutes of reading, please record the title and author of your book.  Then, write and tell me either a fact or opinion from your story.  Please tell me how you know the statement is a fact or an opinion.
EAMPLE:
I read Knots in my Yo, Yo String by Jerry Spinelli. 
“Every kid wants to be a bad kid.”  I know that this sentence from the story is the author’s opinion because there is no evidence to support that every kid in the world wants to be a bad kid.

    I read Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder. One fact from the story is.... "And one morning the whole land was green." I know this is a fact because it is true that all the land was green.

    I read a seires of unfortanate events #4 the misrible mill by Lemony Snicket.
    A fact is that you can make a sign out of gum how I know is that Ive made 1.

    I read Little House On The Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder.I have a option for you it is "it was a very nice bed'' I know this is a option because someone else might not think that its a nice bed.

    I read Double Fudge by Judy Blume. An opinion is that Fudge's mom said that he was very mature. I know it is opinion you can question it. Peter laughed at it because he didn't think it was true.

    I read Goddess Girls 2: Persephone the Phony by Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams. "Cheron was the old man who ferried the dead across the River Styx to the Underworld." It is a fact because the author is telling you what happens in the Underworld.

    I am reading Ripley's Believe or Not Special Edition 2007 by Mary Packard. Weather experts estimate lightning strikes earth 100 times per second. This is a fact.

    i read the first big book of why and did you know that thunder and lightning go at the same time but light is faster that sound so it comes before the sound. fact because everyone knows that!

    I read Gilda Joyce Ladies of the Lake by Jennifer Allison.An opinion I read was "something happens to them when they become teenagers".I know that it is a opinion because someone might not agree with them.
