We have been learning to infer in class. Use the inference equation
BK+TC=I to make an inference during your 20 minutes of reading tonight.

The book told me that Max was sent to bed without anything to eat. I know that sometimes kids are sent to bed early when they get in trouble. I can infer that Max's mom must be mad at him

ReplyDeleteI read Horrible Harry and The Holidaze by Suzy Kline. The book told me tat Sid fell out of his chair and that the teacher asked him if he was okay and he said "of course". I can infer that he really isn't okay because usually when i fall and some one asks me if i am okay I say yes but then I am not really okay.

I read Diary of A Wimpy kid by Jeff Kinney.The book told me that Greg Had two brothers and they were mean to him and I know that kids don't have a happy life the way they want to.I infer Greg has an unfair life.

I read By The Shores of Silver Lake by Laura Ingalls Wilder.I could infer that Laura really wanted those horses because of my background knowledge which was I know that I normally when I want something I ask how much it was which Laura did and kept looking the way that they were going until she couldn't see the horses anymore.I also finshed my book today!!!!
