11/7

After your 20 minutes of reading, please record the title and author of your book.  Then, write and tell me either a fact or opinion from your story.  Please tell me how you know the statement is a fact or an opinion.
EAMPLE:
I read Knots in my Yo, Yo String by Jerry Spinelli. 
“Every kid wants to be a bad kid.”  I know that this sentence from the story is the author’s opinion because there is no evidence to support that every kid in the world wants to be a bad kid.

    I read Everything On It by Shel Silverstien. One opinion that I have is that Everything On It is a silly book.I know that it is an opinion becauseIt is what I think.

    i read diary of a wimpy kid the ugly truth by Jeff Kinney
    ''she says that if i don't take better care of my teeth, i'm gonna end up with dentures before i go to college" it is a opinion because there is no facts or way to prove that all kids that don't take care of their teeth get dentures.

    I read Turtle Paridise by Jennifer L. Holm."Kids are rotten".I know that the sentence from the story is the authors opinion because there is no evidence that every kid is rotten.

    I read Little house on The Praire by Laura Ingalls Wilder. My Fact is that the Ingalls family lived A long time ago.I know this because its true and it says it in the bening that it is true.

    I read Goddess Girls 2: Persephone the Phony by Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams. "Pandora's bangs clang to her forehead in the shape of a question mark." This is a fact in the story because the author is telling what happened.
