Mental Images 9/18/2012

We've been thinking about creating pictures in our minds while we read.
Please practice this skill as you read for 20 minutes this evening.
Then, in the comment section write and tell me the title and the author of the book you read.
If it was a book that was easy for you to create mental images with while you read, please let us know... maybe your friends would like to read it too.

My mental image was when Willa Jean wore flippers and ran thru the sprinklers pretending she was a mermaid.

I am still reading The Temple of the Ruby of Fire by G. Stilton. As I was reading about conquistadors, I could picture them burning Indians' homes with torches. It made me feel sad that they lost their homes.
