March 6

We've been working on writing 20 word summaries after reading. 


If you are reading a picture book, a 20 word summary should be easily done.  


If you are reading a chapter book for homework, you may wish to write a 20 word summary over only one chapter of your book.  If you are reading one of  the DIARY OF A WIMPY KID books you may need to write about what happened over one week.


Summaries include information from the beginning, middle and end.  They include the most IMPORTANT information rather than the most interesting information.  


In your post please tell me the title, author and chapter of your book that  you read for 20 minutes.  Then, in exactly 20 words summarize your reading for me.

    I read diary of a Wimpy Kid Cabin Fever. By Jeff Kinney. This book is mostly about a boy who is stuborn. And wants his own way of life wanting all attention.

    The search for the sunken treasure by Geronimo Stilton. Geronimo sailed out to look for the treasure. He scuba dived in the water and saw a big red fish.

    Beasts and Monsters by Anthony Horwitz. It tells me about Monsters ,Legends,and Beasts.The Beasts are the Gorgyon heads, the Sphinx, the Egg, and the Washer in Ford.

    I am reading Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary. Chapter Two: Ramona and Howie became good friends afterall. Howie fixed Ramona's bicycle. Ramona loaned Howie her rabbit for show and tell.

    I read earth paper strikes back by Tom angleberger. Tom found out that dewite is on the dark side. And now everyone is tring to save him.it is misterious. I love it.
