You have become an excellent reader this year!  Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes.  Then, in the comment section write the title, author and what kind of reading strategy worked best for you while you were reading.
Did you have connections?
Did the book create lots of questions and wonderings for you?
Did you learn some new vocabulary?
Were you able to infer about the setting, character, or other events in the story?

    I read (and finished) Room One by Andrew Clements. I had a question.My question was How is April calling Ted? The answer was because she was with her aunt.

    I read Ramona The Brave by Beverly Cleary. The strategy that worked best for me was connections. One of the connections that I had was Ramona has a cat and I am going to get a cat.
