You have become an excellent reader this year!  Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes.  Then, in the comment section write the title, author and what kind of reading strategy worked best for you while you were reading.
Did you have connections?
Did the book create lots of questions and wonderings for you?
Did you learn some new vocabulary?
Were you able to infer about the setting, character, or other events in the story?

  10. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I made a connection when Katniss miss her first shot. She was mad because No one was paying attention to her. Then she did a perfect shot. I remember when I missed a hit in baseball but then I tried again and hit it to the fence.
