Homework for 9/20

After you read for at least 20 min, please leave the title and author of your book in the comment section.  This week I want you to talk to me about your mental images also.  In your comment, tell me what words the author used to help you create a mental image.  Remember that when you use the authors words, you need to put the word or words in "quotation marks".

    i read Farmer Boy. By Laura Ingalls wilder.The 'words that helped me create a mental image was lets make ice cream.'

    Today I read Mouse Soup by Arnold Lobel. The word "cooking pot" helped me get my mental image because he put the mouse in the cooking pot.

    I read Bottle nose Dolphins by John F. Prevost. The word bottle nosed dolphins helped me create a picture of a dolphin.

    I read Horrible Harry moves up to third Grade by Suzy Kline. How I got my mental image of the old new gate prison and copper mine is when the author said the words "wet and skinny"

    I read Goddess Girls by Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams. The words "Athena's fallen asleep during class." is my Mental Image. I pictured her asleep in class.

    I read Strawberry Shortcake's Spooky Night by Lana Jacobs. When I heard the words Strwberry and Orange collected sticks to make a campfire. "A fire will keep us warm when the sun goes down," said Orange.I got an mentle image.

    I read Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan. Ares had "flames dancing along the top of his glasses". I pictured a person that had dark shades and there was fire coming out and it was melting his glasses.

    today I read the 39 clues 12 the sentences that helped me make my mental image are the light bulb produced just enough light to keep you from bumping into the wall.

    I read braving the lake By Erin Falligant. My mental image i had was in 5 points plaza people are walking around.the words I used are''5 points plaza is very busy.

    I read The curse of the Cheese Pyramid By Geronimo Stilton. And my Mental Image was that i saw Geronimo with the closepins on his nose. The word was closepin.

    when i read the words ''lucy was looking for a spell'' i created a image it made me think of some one looking in a big book.
