QAR 2/9

Thinking about the four types of questions, read for 20 minutes and then write a question.
Tell us what type of question you created and how you know...
Remember our four types of questions are"
1. Right There- you can point to the answer
2. Think and Search- you have to take information from many places in the text to get your answer
3. Author and Me- you have to take what the author wrote and your background information to help answer the question
4. On My Own- these questions are our opinions

Your comment might look like:

Shoeless Joe and Black Betsy by Phil Bilner
Q:  What did Shoeless Joe use to turn his bat black?
A: Tabacco
QAR:  RIGHT THERE

or

Martin's Big Words by Doreen Rappaport
Q:Which quote do you think was the most powerful?
A: "Hate cannot drive out Hate, only Love can do that" is the most powerful quote because it was a different idea to many people to resolve conflict with love and words rather than violence.
